National IPA Day is August 6th, so it’s only fitting to talk about the LOCAL IPA’s that we offer. An IPA is a very potent craft beer, with an acquired taste that most craft beer lovers ENJOY very much! If you are a craft beer fan, you already know about IPA’s and probably have a few favorites. If you are newly into the craft beer scene, then let us help you along with a few extremely popular IPA’s! 1. Ghost In The Machine IPA

(8.5% ABV 100 IBU)

Double Dry Hopped Ghost In The Machine is a New England India Pale Ale brewed with 8 pounds of citra hops per barrel! That is an insane amount of hops! Ghost In The Machine is brewed by Parish Brewing Company. Due to Ghost In The Machines high alcohol content, it is served in a 12 ounce snifter glass. Are you getting bored with your Miller Lite? If your taste buds need a little more KICK, give this IPA a try!! 

2. Pussy Wagon IPA:

(8% ABV 115 IBU)

This IPA is made by Brash Brewing company. Pussy Wagon is a Texas IPA offering a nice fresh citrus aroma with some piney resin. Excellent fresh citrus taste. More of a strong piney backing. Moderate astringency at the end. Medium bodied – definitely recommended for IPA lovers! This is a Woodson’s STAPLE! 

3. Yellow Rose IPA:

(6.8% ABV 62 IBU)

Lonepint Brewery at it again!! A single malt, single hop IPA using a large amount of malt and a new hop released in 2012 called Mosaic (HBC 369). This hop is used for bittering, flavoring, and aroma in the kettle; it is also massively dry hopped. The beer is named after a Texas Heroine and she does not need saving. This is a fantastic IPA. It really highlights how much you can get out of so little. It’s a simple beer, but there’s an elegance in its simplicity.

4. Hopadillo IPA:

(6.6% ABV 65 IBU)

Hopadillo is a nicely balanced IPA out of Karbach Brewery. This beer pours with a heavy foam head and comes down slow; hazy yellow color with Refreshing sweet citrus aroma that makes you want to chug it; but the flavor is a smooth citrus flavor that relaxes the taste buds and make you want to slow down and make it last and coming back for more.

5. Hipster Sauce IPA:

(6.5% ABV 45 IBU)

Hipster Sauce is an IPA made by 11 Below Brewing Company. It has a moderately hazy body and light juicy flavor. It’s a complex combination of piney and tropical aromas, caramel sweetness, and refreshing hefeweizen spice.
